It's called as UNOVA region, not ISSU.

Below is our playing report in POKEMON WHITE! We've seen a big fight between ZEKROM and RESHIRAM! And we finally finished the story! Click me and check it out! ...Oops! Sorry not to tell you. I'm Ossan, HINOMOTO's best friend!

#NINTENDO announced the name of the region in Pokemon black/ white.

• The new region. It's called as "UNOVA".

There are regions, Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh as ever.

These name were as same as in japanese version.

But this time is different. In japanese version, the region name of this work is "ISSU".

• Why? I guessed like follows.

Because the regions ever were modeled by japanese area.

This time, the staff said the new region is far away from ever region.

This means ISSU might be a region in another country than ever.

So the oversea staffs might adopt oversea-like name for the region for the first time. As ISSU might still have japanese accent.

• "ISSU" means "One kind" in japanese. Because there people and pokemon lives as like one kind.

"Unova" might have as same factor as its japanese name.

It might be a word playing?? Unite+Nova???
